The Pilates Reformer is an exercise machine invented by Joseph Pilates, used to incorporate the Pilates exercise technique for beginners through advanced workouts. Springs, leverage and body weight are used as resistance while performing movements targeting specific muscle groups. Workouts consist of controlled, fluid movements lengthening and strengthening your muscles through a full range of motion. The Pilates reformer adds increased resistance to the movement. When the body works against this resistance, it begins to adapt and increasing fitness levels, core strength, range of motion and flexibility.

The V2 MAX Tower attachment apparatus essentially transforms the reformer into a mini Cadillac machine and uses bars and springs as attachments. These additional tools provide an increase in resistance, which can enhance the exercise protocol to produce a full-body workout. The Pilates tower workout routines are typically set in small classes and accompany the traditional mat routines.
