My goal is to tailor your session to your body’s needs and to ensure a safe, effective workout customized for you. Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. Its emphasis is on precision and postural alignment, building long lean muscle, and strengthening and stabilizing your core body (which is your foundation), while improving your posture, coordination, flexibility, and balance. I am passionately dedicated to my clients and am committed to working together to meet their goals by customizing sessions for individuals with various injuries, preconditions, health issues, and post surgery. I also work with athletes in need of advance workouts and looking for specific cross training goals. I have been in practice 7 years, and my client base includes athletes, dancers, younger and older population – many of those with special conditions. The Pilates method allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty (beginner to advanced) and towards the clients’ specific goals and/or limitations. I am trained on all Pilates apparatus, which is designed to help accelerate the process of stretching, strengthening, and body alignment. To stay current, I continue to attend educational workshops and am trained in a contemporary Pilates approach specializing in the biomechanics of the body, as well as the aesthetic side, a natural by-product of Pilates.
