Jen has been practicing different forms of asana over the past 10 years. Through meditation she found she was looking for a deeper understanding of the practice. Jen completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Gilbert Yoga in 2017 with Cassandra Bright and Carrie Hensley. During teacher training she began to understand that yoga is more than asana (poses) but a connection to your mind, body, and spirit. She continues to deepen her yoga practice through meditation, pranayama, asana, and chanting. Jen loves to learn and teach others. Fascinated by Ayurveda, she took a 300-hour course to further understand the science of yoga. She will be Prenatal Yoga certified at the end of July. In her classes for children and adults, she hopes to bring her students a deeper connection to themselves, along with holding space for them to explore and let go.
